In the 1990s, Dick Miller and his wife, Ann Miller, became the owners of the agency and continued to build on the strong foundation already established. Under their leadership, the agency experienced tremendous growth while maintaining the small-town service and integrity that clients appreciated. Their dedication to customer service, community involvement, and fair treatment of people helped shape the culture that still exists today.
When Dick and Ann retired in 2015, leadership passed to the next generation as their sons, Greg, Steve, and Mike Miller, took ownership of the agency. The transition was a natural one, as all three sons had already spent years working within the business, learning every aspect of the agency and building relationships with clients and insurance carriers alike. Their combined experience, leadership, and vision helped guide Miller-Hartwig Insurance into a new era of growth and innovation.
Over the years, the agency has grown significantly in both size and capabilities. From its humble beginnings in a small house, Miller-Hartwig Insurance expanded into a building of more than 3,000 square feet to better serve its growing client base. In 2019, the agency expanded once again, growing to over 5,000 square feet to accommodate additional staff, technology, and resources needed to support continued statewide growth.
Today, Miller-Hartwig Insurance is proud to have more than 50 associates operating across more than 20 locations throughout Minnesota. While the agency has grown considerably, its mission has remained the same: to provide exceptional insurance solutions with unmatched personal service.
